Our story begins in Mexico in 1988, when STI Mexico was founded to move freight across a rapidly industrializing north. As our customers' trade turned toward the United States, we followed it — establishing Super Transport International, Ltd. in Laredo, Texas in 1995 to give the group its own operation on the American side of the border. Both companies run today: our original Mexican carrier and our U.S. headquarters in Laredo, backed by offices throughout Mexico and the United States and service reaching into Canada. Nearly four decades of investing in our people, our technology, and our fleet is why shippers trust us with freight that has to cross.
